【摘要】:Thescopeofthispartislimitedtoproductsthatareoftentermed‘electronicrecordsmanagementsystems’or‘enterprisecontentmanagementsystems’.Thispartwillusethetermdigitalrecordsmanagementsystemsforthosesoftwareapplicationswhoseprimaryfunctionisrecordsmanagement.Itdoesnotseektosetrequirementsforrecordsstillinuseandheldwithinbusinesssystems.Digitalobjectscreatedbyemail,wordprocessing,spreadsheetandimagingapplications(suchastextdocuments,andstillormovingimages),wheretheyareidentifiedtobeofbusinessvalue,shouldbemanagedwithindigitalrecordsmanagementsystemswhichmeetthefunctionalrequirementssetoutinthispart.Recordsmanagedbyadigitalrecordsmanagementsystemmaybestoredonavarietyofdifferentmediaformats,andmaybemanagedinhybridrecordaggregationsthatincludebothdigitalandnon-digitalelements.Thispartdoesnotattempttoincluderequirementsthatarenotspecificto,ornecessaryfor,recordsmanagement,forexample,generalsystemmanagementanddesignrequirements.Nordoesitincluderequirementscommontoallsoftwareapplications,suchasperformance,scalabilityandusability.Giventhetargetaudienceofthisdocument,italsoassumesalevelofknowledgeaboutdevelopingdesignspecifications,procurementandevaluationprocesses,andthereforetheseissuesarenotcoveredinthispart.Althoughnotincludedinthispart’srequirements,theimportanceofnon-recordsmanagementfunctionalrequirementsforrecordsmanagementsystemsisrecognisedthroughtheirinclusioninthehigh-levelmodeloutlinedinSection4.2:Overviewoffunctionalrequirements.Specificationsforthelong-termpreservationofdigitalrecordsarealsobeyondthescopeofthispart;thisissueshouldbeaddressedseparatelywithinadedicatedframeworkfordigitalpreservationor‘digitalarchiving’atastrategiclevel.Thesedigitalpreservationconsiderationstranscendthelifeofsystemsandaresystemindependent;theyshouldbeassessedinaspecificmigrationandconversionplanatthetacticallevel.However,recognitionoftheneedtomaintainrecordsforaslongastheyarerequiredshallbeaddressed,andpotentialformatobsolescenceissuesshouldalsobeconsideredwhenapplyingthefunctionalrequirements.Thispartarticulatesasetoffunctionalrequirementsfordigitalrecordsmanagementsystems.Theserequirementsapplytorecordsirrespectiveofthemediainwhichtheywerecreatedand/orstored.Therequirementsareintendedto:a)setouttheprocessesandrequirementsforidentifyingandmanagingrecordsindigitalrecordsmanagementsystems;b)setouttherecordsmanagementfunctionalitytobeincludedinadesignspecificationwhenbuilding,upgradingorpurchasingdigitalrecordsmanagementsystemssoftware;c)informrecordsmanagementfunctionalrequirementsintheselectionofcommerciallyavailabledigitalrecordsmanagementsystems;andd)reviewtherecordsmanagementfunctionalityof,orassessthecomplianceof,anexistingdigitalrecordsmanagementsystem.
