【摘要】:1.1Intheinterestofuniformityandquality,theaerosolindustryhasdevelopeddimensionalguidelineswhicharesuggestedforU.S.three-piecesteelandtin-plateaerosolcansofstraight-wallandnecked-indesign.Domesticcanmakersuniformlyagreedtocomplywiththeseguidelinesandwereinstrumentalintheirdevelopment.Aseriesofstandardmethodsandgageswerealsodevelopedtouniformlydeterminespecificdimensions.Thetolerancesestablishedforthesedimensionsallowforcanmanufacturingandfillingprocessvariations.1.2Itisthepurposeofthisguidetoprovidealistingofcurrentlymanufacturedaerosolcansizesaswellasindustryvoluntarydimensionalguidelines.1.3andpresentthesalescodediameterandheightofstraight-wallandnecked-inthree-pieceaerosolcans.TheunitsinparenthesesareinSIformat,analternatereferenceusingdimensionssuggestedbytheMetricWorkingGroupoftheCanMakersInstitute.TheyarebasedonInternationalOrganizationforStandardization(ISO)insidediameterstothenearestwholemillimetre.Canheightsarebasedonheightsoverthedoubleseam(CSMADimensionD)convertedtothenearestwholemillimetre.
