【摘要】:Thisguideprovidespersonnelwhohavealimitedmicrobiologicalbackgroundwithanunderstandingofthesymptoms,occurrence,andconsequencesofchronicmicrobialcontamination.Theguidealsosuggestsmeansfordetectionandcontrolofmicrobialcontaminationinfuelsandfuelsystems.Thisguideappliesprimarilytogasoline,aviation,boiler,industrialgasturbine,diesel,marine,andfurnacefuels(seeSpecificationsD396,D910,D975,D1655,D2069,D2880,D3699,D4814,andD6227)andfuelsystems.However,theprinciplesdiscussedhereinalsoapplygenerallytocrudeoilandallliquidpetroleumfuels.ASTMManual47providesamoredetailedtreatmentoftheconceptsintroducedinthisguide;italsoprovidesacompilationofallofthestandardsreferencedhereinthatarenotfoundintheAnnualBookofASTMStandards,SectionFiveonPetroleumProductsandLubricants.Thisguideisnotacompilationofalloftheconceptsandterminologyusedbymicrobiologists,butitdoesprovideageneralunderstandingofmicrobialfuelcontamination.ThevaluesinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
